CENTRAL VENUE
Late in 2010, the community of Central Avenue Church began work on what would become a second location for worship in Athens at 29 E Carpenter. The vision for the space was that it would not only serve as church on Sunday morning, but that we would meet the surrounding community in this space throughout the week. We want to build relationships with businesses and organizations and individuals who identify with our vision of fostering community through faith, education, music, and the arts.
In the past, Central Venue has been the host of plays, lectures, concerts, puppet parades, meetings, banquets, workshops, and more. We're excited to see what else we can use the space for, and would love for you to join that conversation.
Central Venue is accepting new bookings with preference to Central’s partner organizations. If you are one of our partner organizations and need a space for a particular event, please feel free to contact the office at 740-592-2389, or send an email to our Director of Administration.
But if you are a community member looking for venue space for a particular event or occasion, we still want to hear from you! We have been host to a number of community events and gatherings, from proms to game nights to birthday parties and anniversaries.
