Serve

Our 2011 Montaña de Luz mission team in Honduras. December 2011
Volunteering at Central is about more than filling a role on Sunday mornings. We believe it’s about using the gifts God has given you and the unique way He has wired you to support His Church and bring Christ into the lives of those in our community.
Areas of Ministry
Guest Services
The Guest Services Ministry exist to create a welcoming, accepting, and warm environment for guests attending weekend services and special events. If God wired you with an eye for design, attentiveness to the needs of others and a cheerful personality, Guest Services might be for you! Contact Jim Jennings for more information.
Community Care
The Community Care Ministry supports those in our body through prayer and meals in time of need. If God wired you with discernment, enthusiasm for prayer, a gift for cooking and attentiveness to the needs of others, this may be the ministry for you! Contact Jim Jennings for more information.
Children & Youth
The Children and Youth Teams exist to share the love of Christ and create a positive worship experience for people age birth through high school. If God wired you with a love of children, a lot of energy and a desire to communicate Jesus’s love in a way that today’s young generations will understand, the Children and Youth Teams might be for you! Contact Melissa Goertz to volunteer with children age birth through sixth grade. Contact Andrew and Heather Costa to volunteer with youth in 7th grade through high school.
Missions
Central’s Mission Team focuses on three primary projects: our partnership with the food pantry at Lottridge, Ohio, Operation Christmas Child and Montaña de Luz. There are a number of ways you can volunteer to support these ministries. For information on our Missions Team and volunteer opportunities, email the Office for more information.
Administration
The Administrative Team exists to support Central ministries, volunteers and staff through communication, maintenance of church records, and office management. If God wired you with discernment, discretion, attention to detail and the ability to organize almost anything, the Administrative Team may be for you! Contact Serena Wolfe for more information on volunteer opportunities.
